Kristen Szanto was born in the artist colony of Laguna Beach, California. Her early works include portraits of Fire and Slimer, beloved ghoul from Ghostbusters. Eventually, Kristen became the youngest independant artist, at age 16, commissioned to paint a 16 foot by 4 foot mural for the City of Laguna Beach which is still on display during the city's summer art festivals. Her art works have been exhibited across California, and her design works have been viewed throughout the world. Kristen attended University of California, Irvine where she graduated with top marks in Film and Media. She is presently Art Directing and managing interactive web projects in Los Angeles in addition to freelance design work and illustrating a children's book, Angel Baby.
